It’s not often we praise a particular individual cyclist, and to be honest admittedly there’s not too much to this post. But sometimes one man can be so influential, it’s worth sitting up and taking note. Of course I’m talking of Jens Voigt. After winning the fourth stage of the Tour of Catalonia overnight, it made me realise that in his final year as a pro his gutsy determination – complete with Aussie accent – will be sorely missed this time next year.
